I love produce. Carrots are my candy, salad is my favorite food, and there is nothing better than eating fresh peas out of the garden. Steveo and I planted a garden this year.
It has been real fun, I have my own farmer's market in my back yard.

Almost everything that we planted has sprouted but the weeds have been the most successful. I can fill the big garbage can with weeds from the garden every week. The first photo was taken about a month ago, everything has grown so much since then.
I've learned a lot for next year's crop.

For example radishes grow real fast and there is no way to preserve them and even if the recipe says that radish chips are delicious they are not. I also have enough lettuce to feed a small army so if anyone would like some please come and get it.

We also have a new horse. Just kidding, it is not ours, we just let the neighbors put their horses in our pasture to help to eat it down.

I am impressed! I can't believe you have onions that big and ripe tomatoes all ready! Our garden is much slower. We'll be right down to enjoy some of that fresh, yummy, stuff! et
I love it. I can't wait to have my own garden someday...I will call you when I do to get your advice!
Your garden looks wonderful! Do you ever sleep? How do you find time to do so much! I notice steve is sporting the beard again. Nice.
The garden is awesome and I have enjoyed some fruits of your labor, but what really shocks me is that you posted two blogs that are not separated by 230 days!
Heidi... I've been out of the loop and just found out you were pregnant!!!!! We are so excited for you! The little baby boy is soooooo lucky to have you as his mom. Good luck in a couple of weeks with everything! And by the way... who knew you could sew so well. The baby cloths are great. I didn't know baby sleepers could look that good home made. maybe I should try some.
Anyway, congrats!!!!!!!
