Think Pink

Well the results are in and this family of motorbike, dirt, tractor loving people better get ready for the pink. The ultrasound this time was really fun, the tech took more time with us and showed us lots of things. Some of my favorite poses were the ones with her little hands behind her head (both Steveo and Ridge sleep like that) and the elbow leaning on the knee. At one point as it got closer to her face she frowned. (I don't know if I am ready for a grumpy baby;) She also showed and explained to us all kind of measurements and checks that she was doing like checking for a cleft palate, measuring the thickness of the skin behind the brain, making sure the blood flow was good in the placenta, checking out organs and all sorts of other things. We are all really excited and Steveo even picked out some cute little girl clothes and gave them to me for Christmas.

Just Like Dad

Look at these two happy guys. What could be bringing them so much pleaure? They are looking at Craigslist, if I remember correctly photos of motorbikes and tractors. Boys. This is the reason that Ridge learned to crawl up on the coffee table to look out the window.

This is what is happening at my house right now...

First of all, in the front yard this guy is using a saw to cut throught the concrete in the side of the house.
Here is where he is pumping the power from.Steve is outside with a cop getting a vin inspection done.In the back yard these guys are hitting chunks of concrete with a sledgehammer to break them up.
Oh, and where is Ridge???

Saying Goodbye

I guess it is time to admit it. I have not seen my ring in more than two weeks, it is gone. My best guess, after drying my hands with a paper towel it slid off my finger and then I threw it away. Boo. I guess I always knew that it wouldn't last forever, it is made out of wood, but I had hoped longer than two years. Thanks Steveo, I loved it and I still love the memory.

Working

Steve has decide to start working on finishing the basement, and of course he is keeping up with other projects as well and his trusty sidekick is often there to help.

Remodel

We are going to enlarge our home by two feet in May.

Wolf to Woof

Mom, Ridge and I waited until the last day of the museum to go take a look. It could have only been better if Chuqui were allowed to come in with us.
I think Ridge wanted to ride this dog.
He was scooting around everywhere.
The dog that looked like Chuqui was Ridge's favorite, he cried when we walked away from it.

I don't think that Ridge knows that computers are educational tools, he just kept shutting off the screen and turning it back on again.
I guess it is better than picking his own nose, eh?

The Fair

On our anniversary we went to the fair. Ridge liked the petting zoo, he loved the little pigs. Steve like the bike that had handle bars that were rigged up so they went left when you turned right, and right when you turned left.

Two Years

Two years ago today Steve and I were married, best decision of my life.

Happy Birthday

Thanks to all who made my birthday special. Check out the nice camera skills of Kym, taking a photo with half the candles lit and the other half not. Oh and also, for those of you who had a piece of the cake, I might have spit on it, but just a little.

Rush

What a fun Saturday! Laurie and I woke up in the 5a.m.'s to get ready to go to Rexburg to compete in the Rush Triathlon. We competed in the Sprint event, which consists of a 1/2 mile swim, 14.2 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. I met my 1st goal of finishing and my second goal of coming in under 2 hours. In our age group Laurie got 5th and I got 6th (coming in 2 minutes after Laurie) Kym also participated in the event, if you look closely she is helping me take off my wetsuit after the swim. (Thank goodness for the swim, Laurie biked 10 minutes faster then me so it was a good thing I got a lead with the swim) Steveo and Ridge were great cheerleaders, driving around looking for us on the course and even running a little while with us, and then presenting us with flowers at the end. Laurie and I are both excited to do it again.






After the race we went to Craigo's and had all you can eat pizza and then we went up to Island Park and floated the river with Momma Bear, Adam, Kym and Corby. Ridge loved to be the navigator in the canoe (too bad I didn't take a camera because he was so cute)

Steveo without a Beard

So I asked Steveo if he would shave if I got him one of these. I thought that the 50 dollars might be worth it. He said no, but he really likes them. Really?!? Weird
Just kidding I like his beard most of the time.

Cruise

Last APRIL (yes I know that I am slow) we went on a cruise, here is a photo update. We visited Cozumel, Mexico; the Grand Cayman Island,and Jamaica. Be prepared, there are a lot, and I mean a lot of photos.
