A day with Grandpa

We took Ridge, for the first time, to a fast food place with the play house. He loved it. I still can't believe that I got my dad to eat fast food.




We also went to Hill Airforce Base, we were going to go to the museum but we got there about 15 minutes before it closed so we just walked around outside. Ridge loved the planes, he is getting so independent, he doesn't want to hold anyone's hand he just wants to walk on his own. He is pretty good about staying with us, well staying where we can see him.

Since Ridge was having such a good time, we thought he would enjoy a drive through car wash.

He didn't.

And the winner is...

We had a pine wood derby with the young men and young women in the ward and as you can see my car did not race real fast. I guess I can still be a winner because my main goal was to make a car that Ridge would play with. I guess that I should admit it now, I didn't really make it, I had a lot of help (Steve, Emma, Reed). It reminded me of high school shop class where I was only allowed to paint and sand and my teacher made the rest of my projects, but hey they turned out nice.
