Tuesdays

I think Tuesdays are my Mondays this semester. A few weeks ago on Tuesday my car got hit, I found a note on my car that said he had seen it and he even had a license plate number. The cops said that they cannot do anything because the person who hit it doesn't admit to it, even though we have a witness. Weird. Oh and did I mention, the guy who hit it works for the sheriff's department. Damage is minimal so I guess that it is really not that big of a deal. Then another Tuesday I had Steveo's truck because he takes mine on Tuesdays because he has scouts. (That is another story) I got a parking ticket. Here is the kicker. The ticket was because an expired parking pass was visible. There was a current parking pass also but I guess they didn't like that old one there also. So yesterday, Tuesday, I had his truck again and I locked the keys inside the truck. Did I mention that I was stuck out in a rainstorm in the middle of nowhere? I called Steveo to tell him what I had done, and he told me that he had popped my tire. He was now riding on a doughnut. I love those Tuesdays, someone call me next week and remind me to stay in bed next week, or maybe I should just not drive. I don't think that I can currently make it the 20 miles to work on a bike, oh well; I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.

I'm sorry! You should tell steve that he needs to get you flowers or take you out to dinner next tuesday, then maybe you could break the trend!

Heidi! Your story makes me want to cry! And I'm not even pregnant! What can we do to break the curse of the Tuesday? Hope they only get better from there. P.S. You can always call us if you ever need anything.

So I did some research (talked to my hubby) and he informed me that what the cop told you may be incorrect about the hit and run incident. If the witness is willing to testify then you could take it to court. The cop may just be looking out for the other guy since he is a couty employee. So if you want something to get done about it you should request another officer look into it. But if you do talk to someone please dont bring up Kurtis'name cuz he could get in a lil trouble for disputting another officer. Just my thoughts, do with it what you want.

Did the witness leave his name? You should call the prosecutor and tell him about the incident, that you have the license plate number and a witness and you want the person charged with a hit and run. Then explain the person works for the sheriff's office and you believe that's the reason they haven't brought charges. If you need the prosecutor's number I can give it to you. You shouldn't let them get away with this.

Or, if you want me to call the prosecutor for you I would be happy to. Just tell me what county it was in.

That really ticks me off! Have Heather call!!! It may not seem like a big deal now, but it's wrong to hit and run period- get it taken care of! That way you can have his insurance pay to fix it!
